Hotel review for Hotel Sant Elmo Beach

I was very pleasantly surprised by the hotel. The pool area is fantastic and the beech is great, although it's only a short walk there was still a shuttle service. The bar and restaurant staff were very helpfull although they didn't speak much English, but that gave us a better opportunity to learn some italian. The 'entertainment' staff were younger and didn't seem as professional but were still generally quite helpful. The only complaint I would have is that they weren't prepared for the odd rainy day we had, there was litterally nothing to do and the excursions were expensive and not very appealing. This is the first half-board holdiay I've been on and with the price of it I felt that it was quite exclusive, the way we were fed every evening was a bit like a school canteen, if this is the way half-board is then I apologise but I felt like I wanted a bit more effort put into the ambience. Flowers or candles on the tables would have been nice but we were literally crammed into the dining room with not much space between tables and no real personal attention. But like I said this was the only complaint. It was a beautiful place and I would definately recommend it to anyone.
