Official description for the Hotel Anacapri

The Hotel is housed in an 18th century house typical to ‘Granada’ that has been carefully restored in order to preserve many original feature and has been converted into a charming, contemporary centrally located boutique hotel. There is an interior patio, artisan woodwork in the cafeteria and reading room that all date back to the era it was built in. Many of the features stand out such as the “costumbrista” painting at the entrance of the hotel, the “still life’s” in reception and the cafeteria, and the prints of Italian origin that surround the central patio. During the last renovation 2005/2006 several silk screen prints from well-known modern painters were also incorporated in the hotel.

This 3-star hotel is located in the very heart of the city. The building still retains a number of beautiful and well-preserved features from its original construction in the 18th century, including wood-beamed ceilings. The building also has a central courtyard, a typical feature of buildings of this period in Granada. The hotel has a lounge, a reading and television room and a bar/cafeteria where guests can enjoy a cold buffet breakfast every morning. The hotel’s multilingual staff can provide advice on where to go and what to see and do in the city. Staff are happy to help guests make reservations or purchase tickets and can also provide city maps, leaflets and free local magazines and leaflets.
