Official description for the Hotel Auracher Löchl

Located in the heart of the old town sits this traditional hotel, situated in a peaceful and idyllic spot by the River Inn, with the Kufstein fortress towering above it. The Auracher Löchl is the oldest wine tavern in Austria. The Tyrolean folk hero Andreas Hofer and our house musician Karl Ganzer, who wrote the world famous Kufstein song “Kennst du die Perle” (effel-Verlag, Munich), enjoyed the Löchl -Weizen (wheat beer) or 1/8l Austrian wine. The hotel offers a variety of facilities, including comfortable rooms with impressive views of the scenery and a restaurant. In the surrounding area you will find a number of places to visit and things to do. In summer and winter you can enjoy activities such as hiking, biking and skiing.
