The typical climate in Acapulco is almost always sunny, hot and humid. During the dry season (November to April) its moderately humid being around 30-32 C, however it does get cooler during the night. During the rainy season (May to October) there is high humidity in the air being about 31-34 C. During this season it does not rain that often but it can occur that it rains at most 3 times a week.

The official currency of Acapulco is the Mexican Peso.

The official language of Acapulco is Spanish however English is widely spoken all over Acapulco.

Acapulco was an important trading point. “Acapulco” comes from the Nahuatl language, an Uto-Aztecan language spoken primarily by Nahuas in Mexico and Central America. Acapulco means “At the big reeds / At the broken reeds”.The oldest discoveries including for example, clay utensils or tools to grind corn, come from the first formal settlements originated in the thirteenth century by the Olmecs.Acapulco In 1476 was occupied by the Aztecs and in 1523 by the Spanish. Acapulco was the busiest trading point of New Spain. Its location ensured the city's success for centuries. In 1873 Acapulco was renamed to “Acapulco de Juárez” to honor the former President Benito Juárez.Since 1950 the city has experienced an economic boom in the tourism sector.

Acapulco has an International Airport “International Airport Acapulco General Juan N. Alvarez” located about 26 kilometers from the city Acapulco. From there one can rent a car at the airport are travel into the city via bus or taxi.

Public transport
Within the city one can travel with several buses and taxis. A cheap way of traveling is by going with “Costera cabs”. These drive up and down the coast of Acapulco, the area where most hotel resorts are located and also passing by the old town of Acapulco. However the “Costera Cabs” despite being the cheapest travelling manner have a complex system to follow. Therefore Acapulco's government has established a bus system for tourists. These are yellow buses with the logo "Acapulco" on them with specific route destinations however also circulate the tourist section of Acapulco driving up and down the coast. The hotel is very centrally located. You can reach everything to foot or with the bus or taxi. Bus about 30 cents and taxi depending on the distance and negotiation about 3.00 until 10.00 good euro. The buses are the absolute best cult and the taxis are blue-white-bug VW. The white-yellow taxis are decorated inflow taxes and cost per person about 80 cents from the place is ok but it is primarily their travel packages to get to the man. The 40 years is not at the hotel. Very centrally located in the tourism belt on the Hauptstarße location. From the traffic noise you get in the rooms with not much. Direct beach access. Breakfast buffet with a large selection of business use, until 12:00 A.M.. Snacks and attentive staff. The room was a bit in need of renovation, was once a Hilton with history.
