Well posibilited hotel hotel not far from Rethymno city. Rooms are large enough, public beach.Clean Room size is ok, with balcony. Clean and tidy. Excellent speaking many languages, always friendly. Very fresh, clean hotel in general nice clean. Very nice rooms, clean and bright all wit balconies. The staff of the hotel in all level's they one all very friedly, helps in all that we as. We come back in this hotel 20 years now every year. Best travel time from April until October is the best period. A very nice family hotel where the staff is very friendly and helpfull. There is a nice swimming pool with sunbeds and umbrellas (free). The hotel has a nice bar and lovely terrace with seaview. And a lot of good cocktails and snacks! Breakfast and dinner are served in the large restaurant where you never have to search or wait for a table. I spent in the hotel 2 weeks and during all this time I hadn`t any problem. The staff was very friendly, the territory nice and clean, 2 swimming-pools, big and bright room. We have been going to the Katherin Beach hotel since our children were teenagers. They are now in their thirties, so this report is long overdue! We go to this hotel for the outstanding glory of its position, right on the beach. To the right you can see far up the coast, and to the left the town of Rethymno with its ancient venetian port and fortress. (Rethymno is easily accessible from the bus stop outside the hotel).
