Alvor

Only booked with breakfast in the town of alvor daily for dinner to eat. This evening walk-approximately 20 minutes, was wonderful, food At the local fantastic. The food in the hotel itself-breakfast can only be assessed/was not so great. Overall a very nice holiday, guests almost all British and older (as did we). We were there 2 years ago at the sister hotel Pestana Delfim, which "only" 4 star. This time we were lucky to be moved on Alvor Praia. The hotel is very nice and quiet location. Hard to see from the sea, as a good way to cram the landscape. Our room on the 6th floor. Floor with a sea view, so we had uninterrupted views and extensively used. Sea view is definitely a must! Night if you want breakfast Bay, great. You can eat good and cheap 1000. Portimao on the left hand side. plain but Valentin cooks everything you could want for can't beat the price. he speaks Berlin German. Read more

It is a little bit so be careful. There are Prainha club the Hotelhaupthaus what super nice has been renovated etc. But there are also directly attached Prainha Village apartments. These are in such a Appartementsiedlung and in rather bad old Portuguese standards. Another negative point, the whole hotel advertises great Atlantikpool. the hotel would the concept great, but it is not properly managed. for the short useful life already very heruntergekommer condition. there are serious shortcomings in the cleanliness ( outdoor areas, front desk, room, breakfast area, balcony etc. ) outdoor area little covered with greenery.
