We were a 24 person group and everybody liked the hotel, the environment and the familiar friendliness. We fully recommend this hotel. The hotel is 300m to the train station so you can travel to any other swiss city in a few hours. Read more

Kronen hotel it is an old house converted into hotel and it shows immediately inside.The hotel is beautiful outside.We paid for an overnight stay and breakfast 120 euro, an enormous price compared with the conditions offered.The bathroom in our room was very small, I've never seen anything like it-TERRIBLE.The beds were cosy, but the rest of furniture and the TV are old and the walls are shriveled.

Fantastic lodge to make as base for mountain sport
Lodge & Hostel Basecamp Andermatt in Andermatt, Central Switzerland
Great fun place to be, perfect location for like minded people who want to be in the mountains. Just completed the Lodge is in excellent condition with new amenities. International crowd of climbers and ski tourers alike for all year around activities. Read more

Lodge & Hostel Basecamp Andermatt in Andermatt, Central Switzerland
Lodge is lataley renewed, clean and we feel realy welcome. Noise and atmosphere is created by visitors it self thus is nice and positive to have conversation with others. Architecture is well connected with Swis alps and sourounding.
I like the Basecam !
Pretty much in wood, clean and I wa surprised on well sound insulation. Of course youe need to accept sleeping with 2-3 more persons in the room.
As Basecamp is a hostel all cooking was done by ourself. However kitchen is well equiped.

Basecamp Andermatt is a shiny new option for mountain sports enthusiasts, with space for about 25 guests.
Guests prepare their own meals in a communal kitchen, with outdoor barbeque an occasional option. The kitchen has top quality stoves, oven, dishwasher, and refrigerators. The collection of pots and pans, including woks, large soup pots, fondue pots, allow for a wide variety of meals, and many guests seem to be superb chefs.
