Coming from the US this airport is accessible, however coming from international countries when travelling to Aspen one should fly to Denver Airport, and from there take a connecting flight to Aspen Airport. At Aspen Airport it is possible to rent a car with a selection of different companies, the car should however be ordered prior to arrival.

Aspens transportation network is “the Roaring Fork Transit Agency” which operates buses and free shuttles between various resorts. It is also possible to take a shuttle bus from the airport to resorts.

We stayed at this year as part of a group tour a week station in Aspen for skiing. The gant was a relatively large apartment complex, whereas the apartments all in houses with maximum 3 stories. Four of us had an apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which was very spacious. Daily room service was impeccable and nothing about the area a good impression. Specially the description of " Being an " describes all quite good. We didn't realize quite the individual building. This means must for example. Breakfast is always only a walk through the cold and maybe snowfall. Not bad, but not comfortable. The constructional atmosphere reminds me a bit of DDR concrete block. The staff seemed never real hosts.
