Friendly place with great traditional German food
Hotel Wolfsschlucht in Bad Muenstereifel, North Rhine-Westphalia
We've stayed at the Wolfsschlucht on and off for many years. It's a traditional, slightly rustic establishment with a convivial bar/restaurant. Food, which is mostly traditional local dishes, is well prepared and efficiently delivered and the buffet breakfast is excellent. Some of the decor is a bit folksy and may not be to everyone's taste but some of the rooms have recently been refurbished, with enlarged bathrooms with whirlpool baths etc. It's a convivial place to stay and well locate...
