we are honeymooners who have just spent an incredible fortnight at the Severin. Everything about this hotel was more than we expected. From the management Andrew Muir , To the restaurant staff , pool lads ,housekeeping etc. all everybody wanted to do was make your stay a memorable one. Our room was very well maintained and cleaned to a high standard everyday. This hotell did exceed all our expectations! The staff was overwhelmingly helpfull and the service was excellent! The location was perfect as well. A 4* hotell with all the amenities you need for a relaxed, peacefull and if you wish so, an active holiday! Our room in the mainbuilding was very very nice and spacious. The hotel area felt and was very secure as well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! Read more

This hotel was fantastic. During our stay the dining room was being re built but this caused no disruption whatsoever. The construction staff were quiet and unobtrusive and used hand tools so that there was minimal noise. The restaurant facilities were continued in the safari restaurant and the food was as good as last year.
The staff remembered us from a year ago and went out of their way to come up and say hello and ask how we had been. We could not fault the personal touch of service.

I have been in this hotel also 2010 for 2 weeks. When I arrived this time I was forced to wait for my room for 2 hours. Other peple arriving after me got rooms before me. Friends of mine had booked room at the hotel but when they arrived they were refused rooms because they had not payed in advanced. But there were witnesses that there had been an agreement that they were booked and that they could pay when they arrived in the morning. After that I moved to Whitesands instead. The best hotel...
