Bavaro is located in the Province La Altagracia in the East of the Dominican Republic. The area is very touristic and many hotels are located there.Climate and When to go
The weather in Bavaro remains fairly stable throughout the year. It’s tropical climate means it is warm year round. However this also means you can expect short heavy rain showers. Evening temperatures are also high, meaning long evenings can be enjoyed outside.
Currency
The currency here is the Dominican Peso. Cash machines and ATMS are available in the resort town, so getting hold of cash is not a problem.
Visa Requirements
When arriving in the Dominican Republic tourists must purchase a tourist visa for 10 US dollars. This can be done on arrival or alternatively in advance over the internet.
Language
English is widely spoken in Punta Cana although the first language of locals is mainly Spanish.

Smaller and very fine hotel on wonderful beach of Playa bavaro.
because the hotel not yet so old, it is in great condition. The rooms are wonderfully furnished and huge.
the employees are the whole day traveling around the entire area well maintained and clean. Several Times daily the toilets in the public areas (pool, restaurant, etc.) cleaned.

the hotel has a wonderful park by the a small small railroad drives. Also we have used around the complex exploration. Everything is very well maintained. Our room was a renovated. It was not in the best condition but it was clean and our maid our desires fulfilled if the cream ausgeganngen is. It was the all of the staff always friendly. There were many German speaking guests but also lots of Russians and Americans there.

The general garden area is quite well maintained. The pools are not clean. The buffet restaurant is very dark. The superior rooms large but old.
infrastructure is not in fully occupied equipped. Our holidays has been in the queue to stand. Luckily we had holidays...
Superior rooms: very large rooms. The furniture rather old. The Drawers we could hardly use, as not pulled could be, or apart fall. Unfortunately no balcony.

The hotel complex clean and tidy, but otherwise...
we had a Superioszimmer, nice size
beds were in the 14 days not changed once, the towels missing time, but the cleaners was then still in the house.
staff was always friendly. It was not any German spoken.
after my partner 2000 $had paid was then in the hospital at me working.
Please look for a other hotel!
we travel a lot, but we had never experienced.

very large and absolutely well-kept hotel

the hotel is very, very large but unfortunately also to crowded! We slept in the so-called bungalows in good but partially also in need of renovation condition (please note the cathedral. Republic is a very, very poor country). There was once a problem with the toilet flush our tour operator said, already CIRCA 15 minutes was schn everything again sorted out.
