It does not really matter when you want to go to Berlin. In any season Berlin offers many things to do. Berlin has a lot of tourist attractions, many museums, bars, pubs, shops, galleries, theaters, cinemas and other places. In spring you can enjoy green gardens and parks with beautiful flowers. In winter you can visit the Christmas markets and enjoy the wonderful illuminations.
Even if it rains there's a lot to do.
Language
In Berlin they speak German. However, as is a tourist city and a city where many people immigrate to, you can hear several languages of the world throughout the streets. In Germany you can very well speak English to someone, most of the time they will understand you.

Religion
The German constitution provides for freedom of religion. However, most of the citizens of Berlin are Christians, split between Catholics and Protestants. Because it is a multicultural city, there is also a part of the population belonging to the Jewish community. There is an substantial part of Berlin not belonging to any religion.

Airport / Rental CarBerlin has two airports: Tegel airport and Schönefeld aiport, the former is 8km from the center, the latter 20km. Tegel airport offers mainly domestic flights and those to Western Europe.
After landing at Tegel airport there is easy access to the heart of Berlin, thanks to JetExpressBus TXL.
If you want to rent a car, then a driver's license and an approved credit card is required. The major car rental companies are located at airports and stations in large cities.
Public transport
There are buses, U-Bahn (subway), tram and S-Bahn, the subway that goes through the city. All information on timetables, routes and fares, visit: www.bvg.de
The easiest way to travel to Berlin by the underground (U-Bahn), trams and buses but are quite slow, instead take an alternative way to explore the city.
The system of public transport in Berlin is divided into three zones (A, B and C): Zone A includes the historic center, the periphery zone B, while zone C includes the area outside the city of Berlin.
Taxi / Infrastructure
Finding a taxi in Berlin is very simple. Taxis are available outside the airport, train stations, hotels, historical landmarks and everywhere in the city. The base rate is €2.50 and the cost per kilometer is €1.50.

Culinary Delights
Berlin has everything to eat, even for people who have a fine taste. The "Currywurst" is a German sausage grilled or baked.
