This hotel was a delightful and pleasant surprise. I was in a group of approximately 18 hikers from the United States and every one of us loved this hotel. The owners were very accomodating and couldn't have been more anxious to please our group. The location is perfect -steps away from the cable care station and the balconies on the front of the hotel look out on the beautiful Swiss Alps without interference from other buildings. Location was great, next to the cable car but a quiet spot near the forest, nice typical Swiss building (lots of wood) nice decoration (lots of flowers), very friendly staff, excellent breakfast, rooms are cosy (wooden ceiling), have everything you want/ need (even a balcony, if you are lucky on the front side with a spectacular view) and are very, very clean! The hotel is in a great location not too far from the cable car. Just a few steps and you can be at the local pub, grocery store or ATM! Karin & Reto are the perfect hosts who make sure that their guests are well taken of! The breakfast is awesome with freshly baked breads, fruit salad, muesili, etc. Very clean rooms with giant balconies to enjoy the scenery of the beautiful mountains! Thanks for a wonderful stay! We came to Bettmeralp to hike. We wanted a pleasant base with good quality food and friendly staff. The Bettmerhof ticked every box. Every single member of staff was keen to please - having stayed in many an hotel for business and leisure, we can say that the staff here are very special. The food was a particular highlight; the daily fixed menu was varied and very well prepared in our opinion. We have enjoyed our Ski holidays in Hotel Slalom with our two kids of 13 and 11 years old. We very much enjoyed our stay with Reto and Karin. The hotel has a very relaxed and friendly athmosphere and they serve a fantastic breakfest. We stayed in the family room, waking up with an beautifull view on the Alps.
