Entry/VisaDepending on which country you come from you might need a visa, however when coming from most European countries a visa is not required to enter Boca Chica. One has to bring a valid passport and will need to obtain a Tourist Card upon arrival.

Climate
Boca Chica’s climate is known to be Tropical; therefore it gets very hot and humid with some tropical wind throughout there. The warmest months with temperatures reaching up to 35°C are July and August; the coolest months are and December and January reaching around 30°C. Throughout the year it is constantly warm and sunny Boca Chica is also disposed to hurricanes.

Airports / Car rentalWhen travelling to Boca Chica it is best to fly to the airport “David’s Enrique Malek International Airport” which is located less than an hour away from Boca Chica. This airport receives international and domestic flights flying in and out on a daily basis. From there it is possible to rent a car which should be ordered in advance.
Public transport
Most areas in Boca Chica are accessible by walking, however there are also a few public transportation services such as “motoconhcos” which are motorcycle taxis. There is also the possibility of traveling to neighboring cities via public buses called “gua-gua”.
Taxis / Infrastructure
There are many taxi stands within Boca Chica where one can take a taxi, they can also be ordered though at the hotel you are staying at. “Montoconchos” are motorcycle taxis and “carros publicos / conchos” are shared taxis which are very local transportation services.

Events / LifestyleBoca Chica is known to provide a lot of entertainment which speaks for the lifestyle led by the local inhabitants which is friendly, relaxed and very welcoming. Most events are organized by the hotels themselves; however one festival which is widely celebrated in Boca Chica is “the Merengue Festival” which occurs in the third week of July. During this festival people dance to music, drink and eat local drinks and foods and enjoy their time.
Culinary Specialities
The food in Boca Chica is prepared with great pride; the cuisine comes from native Antillean and Creole recipes. The local foods include rice, fresh fish, a variety in seafood, meets and fresh vegetables. A local specialty is a dish called “Sancocho” which is a Spanish-style stew. Other specialties include “Mangu” which is typically served for breakfast, “Locrio” which is a Dominican rice and “Pescado con Coco” which is a local fish dish.
Sights
Boca Chica is mainly known for its beaches and this is also the main attraction within the city. There are not many cultural sights within Boca Chica as the main sights are the beaches. On the beaches there is a variety of different Water sports to do and also the possibility to go fishing. For those who want to explore some culture from the Dominican Republic can travel to the closest town and visit “Parque National Marino Golfo de Chiriquí” where one can explore Panama’s secrets.

You can see in any area of the 4 star hotels.
it is really strange that none of the staff at the lobby the German Lacking, although so many Germans tourist get there.

The hotel comprises 8 building, but the condition of the building and the rooms were very different edlich is. We have 4 times the room changed and were the last very satisfied. Apparently are the best rooms in the PPO. 8 to find, as already described it was really good, no noise and a very good view. at the weekend rent a room the locals in the hotel at. During the holiday stay we experienced, that it was 18 rooms (above of the restaurant the sea- so-called 'captain suites') the silver Bracelets have, and blue, and a fridge (with drinks: beer, water, Sprite, Cola), as well as a hair dryer and are bigger!
