Airports / Car rentalFrom Boston airport there are many ways to travel around the city. As the city center is situated very close to the subway, public buses, taxis and other modes of transport tourists can choose to pick a transport of their preference. The most economical one is the subway. From the airport you can take the free shuttle service to any subway station. Public buses and taxis are also available from the airport. However these transportation methods have a slightly higher price than the subway. You can rent a car in Boston if you are over 21 years old have can show an international driving license. The Boston metro area is very well developed and as there are many traffic jams on the road, and parking costs are high, it is recommended to use public transport.
Public transport
The public transportation in Boston has developed over the years and most locals in Boston choose to travel with the metro. As there is a lot of traffic within the city the subway is a relatively quick and easy choice. Subway stations are marked with a large "T" and bus stations with a small "T". In order to travel in the United States you can take the Greyhound, which is a bus travelling across the whole city, the price is relatively cheap.
Taxis
Taxis are easily accessible and are of a regular price. Luggage can be carried as well however, you might occasionally need to pay some extra fees.

Boston's breakfast usually consists of eggs and coffee. The local cuisine specialty here is seafood; one dish which is recommended is the New England clam chowder. It tastes very special, and not everyone enjoys its unique taste, however it is worth trying. Lobster is also recommended as in Boston it is cheap and extremely delicious.
Lifestyle
Boston is a college town, therefore there is a relatively strong academic atmosphere. In addition to holidays, it has a very active nightlife. Boston is quite the consumer city, therefore shopping can be very enjoyable in this area.

When in Boston the nicest things to see are: the Freedom Trail, Boston’s Public Library, Boston’s National Historical Park, the Federal Street, the Franklin House and Monument and the Boston Bay.
