Probably the best hotel I visited in the latest 5 years. Unique position, very confortable and with a very professional hotel staff. A friend of mine got married there and we decided to stay a few more days to relax and enjoy nature. The view is fantastic, the air is pure, the rooms are big (with a view over the lake) and the furnishings are antique. Quite nice! We had dinner at the gourmet-restaurant and it was delicious! This was our sixth visit to the Brienzerburli for the New Year's Special Arrangement and it is a bit like coming home! We usually meet other regular visitors and the welcome from the owner and family is warm and sincere. Our room was as usual warm and comfortable and we never left the restaurant feeling hungry!
