Due to Cardiff being located in the North Temperate Zone it has a maritime climate. The weather is mild and often cloudy. Summers tend to be warm with temperatures ranging between 17°C and 25°C. Winters do not get too cold; however there is frequent rain and the weather stays quite cloudy. During spring and autumn it is usually around 15°C and the weather can constantly vary from being sunny to rainy.

Airports / Car rentalCardiff airport has domestic and international flights coming in and out on a daily basis. It is also the only airport within Wales and like about 16 km away from Cardiff city center. From the airport there is a railway station and a bus station which allows travelers to choose the most convenient transportation service. It is also possible to hire a car at the airport directly.
Public transport
The railway station in Cardiff is the biggest in the whole of Wales. It has connections to cities all over the whole of the UK. Therefore using this mean of transportation will get you anywhere you want to go. The bus transport in Cardiff is also very popular driving through different routes in and out of Cardiff city. Many people choose to hire a bicycle whilst in Cardiff; therefore this is also a transportation option.
Taxis / Infrastructure
Taxis can be found at taxi stations or circulating on the road. They can also be ordered either at the hotel reception or by calling the central taxi service.
