Our stay in Cartagena was very delightful, also because of the hotel. It is located in the heart of the historical center of the city. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are cleaned every day, the furniture is modern and comfortable. We booked a package (discover the beauty) so that the city tour and the trips to the Islas del Rosario and the Playa Blanca were included in the price and perfectly organised by the hotel. Read more

To expensive for that service: noisy, small rooms, no breakfast included, small social area.
The rooms are small, and dirty. The telephone did not work. The ventilator was noisy and through the day, they worked loudly in the lobby.

Although they say it's save, there are beggars in the streets in the evening. Read more

The Suite is just spacious, that's it. The bedroom had a wet and unclean floor and no closet. Breakfast was served in the room, but only 1 cup of coffee was allowed, could not keep the ... Read more

The Hotel is rather nicely appointed, previously being a Convent. The public areas are attractive in the colonial way, with a charming patio/winter-garden. Staff had beautiful uniforms and this is really a good credit to the Hotel.
The only but: some rooms are very humid, including mine on the 2nd floor. One is informed not to switch-off the a/c nor to open the balcony door of the bedroom because of the humidity...Surely some rooms are in need of refurbishment after 17 years... if you ar... Read more
