For us it was a good choice to stay in Christchurch: centrally located, very clean and relatively inexpensive. However central city district was still out of reach after 2011 earthquakes, Christchurch famous gardens, museums and central bus station were also close by. The building itself didn`t look affected by quakes. It stands firmly. We even experienced by ourselves a couple of shocks during our short one-night stay there. The building shook and rocked but didn`t suffer any damage.
