A good business hotel, but quite far away from the city center. To university is about 15-20 minutes walk.
At the check-in there is a problem, the hotel had the original reservation and moved us a smoking room. After complaining we were offered a non-smoking room with three single beds, which we declined. Finally, we received a junior suite, which was large (including volume in the room).

Already a bit getting old, but clean.
Underground garage available (very narrow entrance!) and not too expensive.

Centrally located below the university city hotel, all sights are equipped with comfortable shoes can be reached easily on foot. Rooms are small but clean and functional, bathroom relatively spacious. We were on a very quiet room at the back allocated, no noises from the neighbors or from the hallway to hear. From the garage (6 EUR, --) direct access into the hotel. For one or two nights the hotel was completely sufficient and due to its great location can be absolutely recommended. Read more

Looks like many other Ibis hotels. In the important points, the hotel is okay. The rooms are clean, Carpets and furniture was new, the heating worked, close the window, and so the best thing about this hotel is its location in Coimbra. It is right on the Flusufer, at the foot of the old town and directly by the botanical garden. We had a room with a view of the river and it was really nice.
