Colorado has its own airport “Colorado Springs Municipal Airport” which is a full-service airport however only has domestic flights come in. “Denver Airport” receives international flights, therefore when travelling to Colorado springs and coming from an international area it would be advised to travel to Denver and then take a connecting flight to Colorado springs or take the free shuttle bus. It is also possible to rent a car at both airports which should be reserved prior to arrival.
