Denver was known historically as the “Queen city of the Plains” due to its great agricultural history.

Events / LifestyleDenver is the major cultural center in Colorado therefore there are a lot of different events and festivals occurring throughout the year. Denver is known for its Performing Arts scene therefore major events include regular theatre, dance, opera and ballet performances.
