We were In Domacija Novak during 2 days but of course we will come back as soon as we can, the owners (Miriam and Boris) are really wonderful and they prepare the dinner with love: They prepare it into a long table for everybody where you can share all the food with perfect wines, mushrooms, .... and a long conversation during the night.
You can walk into the countyside, fishing, go to the forest to take musrooms, and really you feel as if you were at home.

If you are looking for a vacation to relax, enjoy the tastes of the territory, having a quality service, this hotel is the right place. The location is perfect for any type of activity. It takes 40 minutes by car to get to Ljubljana, you can visit the beautiful city and go shopping. The hotel is surrounded by many rivers to fly fishing, a few km is also a health club. The house was remodeled by Boris and Mirriam with the help of local craftsmen. It is a beautiful old farm house. There are antiques every where and some fascinating asotries about the renovations. No elevator, but after the meals the walk up stairs is welcomed! There is plenty of parking, balconies, a wet bar and a wonderful kitchen.

Staying at the lodge feels like staying with a family. The rooms are large and well-kept. The common areas for meals feel warm and hospitable but also allow for private conversation.
