Lifestyle
Eindhoven has a rather young population. So the lifestyle here is set out for entertainment, be it going out to clubs, bars, live-band bars, the cinema or generally restaurants. You will find that Eindhoven is a modern city and very green. Not only because of the popular transportation method of the bike but also because it has many trees and parks set in the city.

Sights
  • As Eindhoven is a rather young city in population it has embraced the modern world with open arms. You will see this city with its many futurist and modern buildings. It is a haven for fans of architecture.
  • THE attraction in Eindhoven is the Philips light bulb factory, which is now a museum. It shows the development of the light bulb in its oldest building, dating back to 1891.
  • The Van Abbemuseum is one of the most popular of museums in Eindhoven. Not only is its architecture admirable but also exhibits modern art throughout the year.
  • Eindhoven has an automobile museum. It displays over 120 vehicles and automobiles who share the history of today’s cars. The DAF museum also shows the history of said historic automobiles.
  • The“De Colse Water Mill” that was painted Vincent Van Gogh is still up and running. This famous building is now an attraction and visitors can view the mill operating (Saturdays) and then buy the milled flour. Around the mill there are also guided tours and various excursions possible.
  • You won’t have seen Eindhoven completely if you didn’t go to the one of the department stores. Definitely worth a visit is the Piazza center. It’s an enormous 16’000m² glass shopping center.

We stayed here for 1 night as we drove to the football game. (Stadium is about a 15 minute walk away) The hotel is very well equipped and decorated in a modern style, and due to the building very complicated decorated. Below are reception, bar + restaurant and Tiefparkgarage (surcharge!), using a stairs you on 2 levels with all the rooms. see more like a maze, go anywhere corridors with only a few rooms. Everything is well marked, where is what, but fun it's probably! An issue is probably the... Read more

The Holiday Inn in Eindhoven was renovated some time ago. Rooms are modern and functional, breakfast room presents a not overly generous but adequate breakfast. Service is courteous, rooms are clean. The hotel is not located in the city center, but with this is through an underpass with subsequent way through a shopping mall within easy reach. There is also a wide range of restaurants of different directions. Read more

in the check in we almost fainted... The hotel is located in number 285, the'front desk' in 201. Arrived in the room, we had a vile odor. In the bathroom door was aware why. It was probably from the last guest and forget all fecal leftovers in the bowl! The lift the toilet seat was almost the sick. Pubic hair in abundance, filthy and smelly urine of the finest quality. Disgusting... After one night in the clothes we were glad the next morning take flight to... Never ever... Read more

Well-managed hotel in the upper middle class. The rooms, in which I usually am (in tower) have always been in good-even if not brand new condition. The bathrooms but always new and very clean. Tv's are a bit antiquated and performs image, mini bar/refrigerator does not exist. Not all rooms have air conditioning. Breakfast buffet is very good, albeit without much variety. Please note: If you're noise sensitive, will not be pleased. Depending on the side of the building concerned highway, noi... Read more
