Great hotel, great location, very nice stuff.
Treff Hotel Sonnwendhof in Engelberg, Central Switzerland
We have stayed for our honeymoon in this hotel. We wanted a nice and quite hotel with great view of the Alps. The stuff gave us the biggest double room with an excellent view of the Alps and the gletsher Titlis. We booked a half board service, but as there were lots of groups we had our dinner in the Ramada hotel, which is located about 500m from Sonnwendhof. A friendly, a little old hotel with a wonderfull view on the city of Engelberg.
Personel very friendly and active to help the quests. Hotel rooms are rather basic, in line with the price of the accomodation. Read more

Hotel Edelweiss in Engelberg, Central Switzerland
The owners Peter and Susanne K. provided a very warm welcome and all staff provided excellent service at this hotel. The hotel provided opportunities for evening entertainment and daytime exploration of the local area. The staff provided an excellent ski shuttle service to local lifts. It was advantageous for us to be able to travel from the UK to within a few minutes of the hotel. Read more

The hosts, Susanne and Peter K., are exceptionally friendly and helpful. They always pick us up at the train station, and take us to and fro the ski lifts. They have fun things going on in the hotel for families,kk but the adults in the crowd (that's us) also are looked after and feel very pampered. We particularly enjuoyed the evening that they took us up the mountain to have dinner at a ski hut. Read more

This is my second visit to the hotel and on both occasions I have been met with friendliness and service which are second to none
The rooms are clean and they receive a thorough clean every day. Some of the bathroom fittings are a little dated but you could not fault the cleanliness. Balconies are of varying sizes but even where small provide you the opportunity to sit in the sun and take in the exceptional location and views.
