Customs / Culture: Fuessen is in Bavaria, a part of Germany but a little bit special. Many people think that Germany is Bavaria, but that is definitly not true. The Bavarians keep their
traditions and their special food like " Weisswurst" or " Brezn".. furthermore they like " Leberknödelsuppe" and " Obatzer". Just try these things. You will survive all of them. Fuessen is very near
to the world famous castle " Neuschwanstein", built by king Ludwig the 2nd of Bavaria, who built several other castles in Bavaria, too. Close to Neuschwanstein lies " Hohenschwangau"; this castle
belonged to king Ludwig´s parents. Both castles can be reached from Füssen by foot. To get up from Hohenschangau to Neuschwanstein you can use a horse sledge to get up the hill. But of course beware
of the prices. You are in one of the mostly visited regions of Germany and this is expensive.Traditions

The hotel sparkles with its location, the service and the food. We will be back.
our room faced the courtyard and was therefore very quiet. The size is OK and we had even a desk. The bath was modern and the whole room clean.
only downside stayed here the beds. The mattresses it was a little too hard and slides while sleeping constant apart, so that a gap in between true.
the staff's hospitality leaves nothing to be desired. All staff were very polite and accommodating. Since we German speak, ... Read more

The whole flair no attractive hotel, 4 stars?
our room was spacious and nice. That was the only plus point.
Service was all in all okay, service in the candle light dinner was obviously embarrassed by the whole vacation, since the guests on the whole ambiance laughed.
It was an offer booked, to the 2 nights with breakfast belonged and additional a candlelight dinner.
the breakfast was nothing special, it is absolute standard to evaluate.
the candle light dinner was of very poor quality, yo... Read more

You feel in this hotel rather uneasy. Already if one into the entrance area has a bad feeling. The power but also the rudeness of the staff from. The premises and exterior did nothing and are rather uncomfortable. Cleanliness see below... Breakfast see below.
See above-service
briefly:
-Totally dirty room. Cobwebs everywhere and Stuhlgangspuren in bathroom
-no coffee machine, no mini bar (only in the suite there is a small fridge -the only spotted must be)
-furniture is rather old and run-dow... Read more
