Fuschl am See

We stayed half-board. Hotel is in the centre of the village and right beside the bus stop( goes regularly). Cleanliness was second to none. The room was basic and in my opinion needs updating.I would have liked if it had tea making facilities. The balcony was beautiful as the river ran directly underneath. A superb guesthouse which was very clean and tidy. Just outside the main area of Fuschl but nonetheless is in easy reach of the restaurants and the beach. Complimentary access to the swimming pool and beach included (saves €6 pp each day used) and also able to borrow bikes if you wish. Whilst not a fluent English speaker we were able to communicate with the owner easily and nothing was too much trouble. Read more

A very good living for everyone.Exellent personal.Our staying here were fantastic. We where traveling around in the area,here are many lovley places to visit.The big city Salzburg is near,with all the fantastic places as Mirabell Schloss with Mirabellgarden,Salzburg Zoo and so on. Read more

We and our friends (two family with children), spent a week there. Before, we booked two family rooms with the hope that the family rooms means connection between the two rooms that a family will have. Although the hotel confirmed our bookings through a tourist office, in real the hotel has only one family room (two room with connection), so the other family got two rooms: one is on the one side of the corridor, the other is on the other side. During our stay, we were shown by the owners special care, particular hospitality and exquisite conditions. All from above, beginning with the accommodation conditions, Fuschl lake, the village surroundings, make us very happy and thus our 8-day holiday was a real success. Me, my wife and our friends enjoyed our stay a lot. Even if we were to Salzburg for 5 times, we will return with great pleasure to Pension Wartenfels and we will recommend it to our dear friends.
