Located 400m above the level of the lake and with a wonderful view , the hotel is a fully restored mansion that gave us the feeling of being old time guests from decades ago. Excellent accommodation and friendly staff. The owner personally gave us recomendations about the excellent meals, always accompanied by very good Italian wines from their huge wine cellar . Beautiful villa with excellent food, staff and service. A car is an absolute must for getting around seeing that the hotel is located high up on a mountain top. Its about a 20 minute drive down to lake garda with some tight curves. Stunning view from the villa over the lake. Read more

Booked on the basis of so many good reviews and I can see why. Beautiful location, lovely hotel, excellent staff and a friendly resident dog! Our Junior suite was good, not excellent, in terms of size. Our children slept in an adjacent room, separated by a door. Not ideal for privacy and they had to share a double bed. It was a poky room at best. So I can't recommend it for a family stay on that basis alone.
