Hiroshima has a warm climate all year round. It is usually very sunny with some rainfall mainly in the mountains. If traveling into mountainous regions it is recommended to bring rain gear. The Winters in Hiroshima are on the contrary to the summer quite cold.

Hiroshima as a very famous history. During the Second World War the world's first atomic bomb hit Hiroshima and severely damaged the city in many ways. Many inhabitants go to the “Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park” in order to pay respect to those who died in the attack of the atomic bomb.
Hiroshima is an industrial city which has experienced a nuclear explosion, therefore the people of Hiroshima are very encouraging towards world peace, which specs for their respectful mentality. Therefore, the most important rituals in Hiroshima include the desire of peace, respect and to maintain a positive attitude.

The most common religions in Hiroshima are Buddhism and polytheism.

Airports / Car rental
Hiroshima airport is located near “Mihara” and has International and domestic services. You can reach Hiroshima city either via the airport shuttle bus, a taxi or by renting a car. You can rent a car directly at the aiport.

Public transport
Hiroshima's public transport includes buses, electric railway, monorail, etc. Hiroshima bus station is the largest in Japan, therefore the bus is quite convenient. Hiroshima Electric Railway is a train which has been in service for a long time. It was part of the atomic bomb explosion which also damaged the vehicle, however it is still running today therefore can be considered as a part of history of Hiroshima.

Taxis / Infrastructure
Another travelling option in Hiroshima is via taxi. There is also a boat taxi which travels along the “ota-gawa” channels towards Hiroshima city center. Of course there are also regular taxis available for transportation.

Other festivals in Hiroshima include:
-“Takamatsu-yama Daimonji Festival” held on the last Saturday and Sunday of May.
-“Peace memorial ceremony” held on august 6th.
-“International Animation Festival Hiroshima” held during middle of August.
-“Hiroshima Dreamination” held during middle of November.
