Hotel Club Magic Life Penelope Beach Imperial in Houmt Souk, Djerba Island
Have just returned from a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday at this hotel, found the staff to be really friendly and helpful throughout, staff in the Jazz bar were excellent,. Not very happy with the beach, seemed quite dirty, camels and horses always on the beach and no one seems to clean up after them! Outside the hotel was poor just a few shops and bars and again same problem with camels and horses and no-one clearing up after them!

This hotel was one of the best hotels we have every stayed in. It is huge! There are so many different parts/areas to this hotel. We stayed here for 2 weeks and I am certain that we didn't actually get to see the whole area. The hotel consists of rooms and bungalows. We stayed in a bungalow and it was fantastic (although some are much larger than others). Every single aspect of this hotel spells class! It is extremely clean and the staff are always seen cleaning.

The hotel was set in very well kept, large grounds, which meant you could find a lively area or a quiet spot, whether you preferred the beach or the pool. The staff were very friendly, and responded to courtesy and a smile - where i saw guests being a little discourteous, the staff handled this well. It was, we felt, a genuine foreign 4 star. The staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly. Nearly all spoke English but all spoke French. I didn't tell anyone that my husband had a birthday during our stay, but the duty manager took the trouble to write a lovely message and leave a small gift for him in our room. this hotel was one of the best that we have visited over a number of years. The staff were most helpful, the complex & beach were wonderful. The food was out of this world with enough selection for even the for the fussy eaters. The rooms were clean & comfortable. With 4 swimming pools & an Aquapark there is ample entertainment for all age groups. All the activities were included on an all inclusive package apart from the jet skis.
