I spent 14 days in a beach banda in the Bahari View Lodge. It's placed diretly at the ocean and therefore offers a perfect atmosphere to hang lose in the sun and relax after a trip to the Kilimanjaro or after a Safari. The food was magnificent, the facilities are very clean and the staff was reamarkably nice. In order to compensate the tides there is a refereshing pool which is especially useful during low tide.

Our stay at the Red Monkey Lodge in Zanzibar has been one of the best holidays in our life. The place is situated at a lovely beach on the fringes of a small village and adjacent to a forest with red monkeys. The rooms are very nice and clean, the food at the lodge is excellent local cuisine and the owner Mark is very friendly and helpful.
