The hotel is very basic and more like a B&B. But it in the hotel and in Kalamaki. We love the original Greece and which you will here. The holiday in Knossos hotel was very reasonable. At L' tour, we paid per person per night for 14 days with breakfast, flight and car not even 600€. As you can expect of course not a great hotel. All in all though, we were pleasantly surprised. Very nice owners, with which you can drink a raki and full of suggestions for places get trip!
Kalamaki is a good place, from there cities to visit.
The prices of the meals at the beach are reasonably priced (in comparison to, for example, Heraklion)!

Until the end of October really available, then all Taverns closed. Our landlord and everything locked up to the sixth November living, will make, but the full price taken (37.50 euros per day). Cheap apartments at a very simple level, bathrooms were rather Wohnkloh character. Kalamaki is a windy corner, as a starting point for excursions in the region but excellent. Read more
