When I was traveling from Upper Greece to Athens by car together with my mother, we had to stop for a night in the area of Lamia. Without great expectations we found an amazing spot in this cozy small city. Hotel Elena is situated max. 5 minutes walking distance from the main square & the central shopping road, where you can find lots of cafes and restaurants (high quality until fast food) as well.
