The Hotel Restaurant Schutzen is, in my opinion, the best place to stay in Lauterbrunnen due to location. We loved the balcony views of the mountains, trains, and cows walking up and down the street. The room was perfect with 4 beds in 1 room. The beds were comfortable as were the feather covers (federdecke).
