Maleme

This hotel is a nice one. It is a rather small, "family run" hotel, which we found to be perfect for us, as we prefer peace and quiet. Beach is just down the street (100 meters), no slope, and was quite empty during our stay in September. The half board we had did not offer a lot of different kinds of food, but everything offered was very tasty. Our room was spacious and with a kitchen corner. It was cleaned daily (except on Sunday). This is a small family hotel with all of this situation advantages and, mainly, disadvantages sadly... 80% of guests are polish, some nice and friendly, but some very noisy, sitting&screeming&drinking free (all inclusive) alcohol till midnights, definitely not gentle-men or gentle-women... As for the hotel itself, room was really nice for Crete-have been here in 5star hotel with worse room...
