HistoryFounded by the Romans in 79 BC, the city owes its expansion to the industrial revolution, starting in the late 18th century and its prime location next to the countryside and the port of Liverpool. Its location also made it a center for the textile industry, where the climate favored the cultivation of cotton.
Culture and Tradition
The cross over between the former industrial city and the new metropolitan city is what the foundation of the culture is built on. Its high student population modern buildings like the Lowry Centre, thriving art scene, and bars and restaurants make it one of the coolest British metropolises. Everything Dirty, the pictures the rooms do not match, all rooms I have seen were all catastrophic condition, centimeter high dust and dirt in the rooms. At the front desk stands already disinfectant or on the elevator. Breakfast buffet: coffee not drinkable, Tomatoes from the box, as well as the mushrooms and cans fruit. there were three of us in the hotel for game at old Trafford. The hotel is this conveniently located, about 15 minutes footpath. TRAM drives opposite, then you are in about 20 minutes in the city. With a change, to the airport.
