Muerren / Mürren

The staff is wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and had the most amazing view of the mountains. Their restaurant had great food in gracious servicing sizes. They serve a different beer than most restaurants in Murren and it's better - I talked to the owner about that and he chose that beer specifically. Good taste! Welcoming, friendly, airy & comfortable hotel with exceptional food & service - nothing was too much trouble. Clean, comfortable rooms with great views. Staff are incredibly friendly & professional, nothing is too much trouble. There's no pharmacy in Murren, although there is a Dr based in the leisure centre 2 days a week who dispenses from there, so you may want to have a few basics with you. The hotel is in perfect in all aspects, such as delicious Switzerland cuisine (better than the same ones in Luzern), friendly and kind host and hostess as well as other staff all of whom can speak fluent English. The Hotel Eiger more than met our expectations. From greeting the train to take our bags straight from the train to our room, to the spectacular view, to the helpful, friendly and accommodating staff, everything was just what we hoped and more.
