As New Orleans is located near the Gulf of Mexico the weather is mild with a subtropical climate. The weather during the summer season from June to August is usually hot and fairly humid with temperature ranging from 20°C to 30°C. During the winter season from December through to February the weather is usually at its coolest with temperature ranging from 5°C to 15°C. Spring and autumn are fairly warm with temperatures ranging from 10°C to 25°C.

All of these airports have international and domestic flights coming in and out on a daily basis. Therefore it is very simple to get to New Orleans. New Orleans “Voodoo Experience”, “Essence Music Festival”, “Southern Decadence”, “Tennessee Williams/New Orleans Literary Festival” are also very known festivals.

Culinary Specialities
The food in New Orleans is world famous, varying from the native cuisine, to food which has been influenced by the French, Spanish, Italian, African, Cajun and many others. Due to this the food is known to have an extremely unique flavor. Local specialties include “beignets” which are fried pastries, “Muffuletta sandwiches”, Gulf oysters, fried oysters, boiled crawfish and a lot of other seafood. Creole dishes and Pralines are also very typical specialties in New Orleans.
