The Westin is undertaking renovations at the moment and I would like to see something unique to Bali in each room, as the updated room we had seen was very nice, but it could have been any hotel anywhere.
We elect to stay in the Royal Beach Club area which has a dedicated club room and other perks, although some of these had been trimmed from our last visit in 2008 (GFC starting to bite!). Great place, great food, outstanding staff. truly paradise. The bar staff were great an entertaining, very professioal and great personalities. The Spa was excellent. The beach was clean and when the seaweed came ashire there were people there to clear it up. Read more

The hotel did not meet my expectations being a 5 star hotel. The rooms were dusty, the bathrooms and rooms are in desperate need of a renovation. The room had insects and ants in there, we had to ask to get it sprayed. I was not pleased with the state of the toilet and the tub. The buffet breakfast only catered for indonesian food, not a wide variety and level of food thats expected of a 5 star hotel. Overall stay was great, smiley friendly staff always curtious and being our first time to Bali, we could not have chosen a better resort and location to stay in, we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and the food was great. We would recomend the Westin if your looking for a good relaxing time.
