We had the most wonderful romantic stay at Aris Caves. We stayed in the nest which overlooked the caldera. Evenings spent in warm air, glass of wine , candles flickering, overlooking the caldera. Paradise. great for honeymoon . Christa is so lovely. Made us feel really welcome and has great local knowledge, and able to book tables at restaurants that are full!! Try Ambrosia for luxury treat. A picturesque magical place, easy access to the sights of Oia tucked into a quiet retreat with magnificent views of the caldera. Rooms have kitchenettes and private patios, comfortable beds and air conditioning. Our hostess Christa gave us great recommendations of places to see,things to do and fabulous restaurants...like having our own Santorini tour guide. She made us feel so welcome. My wife and I (Kathy and Nick from Toronto Canada) enjoyed every part of this vacation. Christa was instrumental in making sure we had an incredible experience. It started off by her organizing our car rental and they actually picked us up at the airport and guided us to Aris Caves. From there she had a bottle of wine waiting for us to open and enjoy the view of the caldera. We stayed at Aris Caves in October 2011 while on our honeymoon. During our honeymoon we spent time in Florence, Tuscany, Rome, Athens, and Santorini. Oia/Santorini was the best part of the trip! We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at Aris Caves. We can’t imagine there is a better place to stay in Oia.
