We visited Il Golfo from 27th. of September till 2nd. of October. It is located in a suburb of Palermo called Sferrocavallo, a small fishing harbour at the Gulf of Palermo.
The B&B (opened two years ago) itself is situated in a quiet street, which rooms you enter through two short staircases. So it is difficult of access for handicapped people. The location is excellent, one is fast to foot everywhere. The evening market around the hotel and enjoy the hustle and bustle of the locals. All every night builds as a butcher and a charcoal grill on its roll roast pork roasts definitely try! The hotel enjoyed its location. It is also quite spacious rooms, beautiful views of the port! For breakfast and no complaints. But, in 4 * hotel, of course, does not pull! If there will be live exclusively "your thing", the beautiful hotel at a good price)
