Panormos

Panormos is a small traditional village set apart from the highway, with excellent access to Rethmynnon and the main Cretan highway. There are no nightclubs and the pace of life is slow. It is wonderfully safe for kids - as far as traffic, a caring small village community and gently shelving sandy beaches. The Iliana is basic but clean, pretty and very near the beach. we stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks and were really enjoying it. it is a wonderful hotel, very nice personel ! the rooms are lovely, the swimming pools are adorable, the beach is small but very nice, breakfast is absolutely too much, you don't know what to eat, so much variety ! Dinner is also very good, warm and a big variety of the meals, only one small negative point, the drinks are too expensive. They need to lower their rates.
