Podgora

The hotel Minerva in Podgora at the Makarska Riviera has 165 rooms and 5 apartments. It is "stacks of" built, as you can see in the pictures of the hotel. The hotel was located on a hill, so if you arrive by car or bus, on the floor right the front desk (and the indoor pool) is, however, they floor the 6th or 7th floor. The hotel has more than 500 rooms and is huge tower. Very clean, but still. We had the half board. There were families with young, people against 18.19, but also only young couples as we did. We had a low cost room (on the back side of the hotel), double bed, bathroom, closet (that we didn't use), very small TV with ARD ZDF RTL SAT1, air conditioning (free), balcony, telephone although the room was very small but clean. The hotel is right on the sea front, it is a three-story main building with exotic trees (cedar, the palm trees etc ), plants hugs. The hotel is quite large in comparison to other hotels in Podgora. The hotel Aurora has newly decorated rooms and 3 apartments, all of which include three accessed by elevators, all with shower, toilet, telephone and satellite TV and balcony are annotated. The travel time end of September/beginning of October in Podgora means the end of the season with the fact that already some restaurants, bars etc. Closed. Otherwise we had a lovely relaxing week at a nice hotel with many older holiday makers, mostly from Germany, Austria, Holland, Poland and Scandinavia. The food was varied and good. The hotel is located in podgora and Sirena completely renovated. The rooms are beautiful furnished, the staff are friendly and the cleanliness we could never complain in. We wanted to enjoy the sun and the sea and with the Sirena exactly the right choice taken. the rooms are ultra modern and beautiful colors.
