Ponta do sol

A nice hotel in a good location and for couples (without children) best suited to explore the beauty of the island. The beach is okay, on Madeira there were a great many stones. A great place to stay high up on the cliffs. The park is a bit limited, but at least available. An elevator brings you up in the hotel area. The breakfast buffet was absolutely sufficient. Dreamlike location of the hotel on a cliff above the sea. Our room was 80 meters above the sea. The complex is located in a quiet area, also the place is rather quiet. The location of the hotel is just wonderful, you have a phantastic view over the coast. Especially the sunset is amazing to see when you take your dinner at the restaurant. The architecture is a nice combination of the old building of the Quinta and the new ones in which the rooms are situated.
