Hotel reviews for hotels in Porto
Beautiful, traditional hotel in the middle of the main pedestrian zone of Porto. Many shops are located directly in front of the hotel. All sights are easily accesible on foot. The old town is about 10-15 minutes walk away. The rooms were big enough and came with a bathroom (with bathtub), hairdryer, satellite tv (3 German channels), and telephone equipped. The breakfast buffet was wide. All in all a good value for money. We would recommend this hotel again at any time book. Read more

the room was very very small. Otherwise nearly everything was nice and clean. The guests are very disciplined and quiet. Could it be, that it is rather unsuitable for children. We appreciated the quiet guests, do not speak loud. The building is a wonderful historical monument. The staff are very reserved but nice and competent. Only WILAN was extremely slow, even though it costs. We wouldn't stay there WILAN order. Read more

Old hotel. As you would have to accept, that now and then the lobby makes, or a carpet is a little worn. The location is quite good, to the city center, you can reach all sights also within walking distance. But our room was tiny, as was the bathroom. The window was to the back and it was very, very small. The gave us at our stay at the least favorite. Perhaps it was a budget room, or the hotel was crowded, I can't comment. At least we have seen on the way to the elevator larger room during t... Read more

Mercure Porto Centro lies ideal directly at the city center and is very good with the (road) train. Parking spaces for guests with rental car are as good as not to get free. Due to its central location (also to the train station) the area surrounding the hotel is not very welcoming. The rooms are very small and extremely easy equipped. For short get aways the hotel is in a good location, as a starting point for exploring Porto very suitable. The breakfast is however outside-that is much cheap... Read more
