Airports / Car rentalWhen travelling to Rome Fiumicino airport, there is a direct train, the Leonardo Express, which takes 30 min. It is also possible to take a taxi there. When arriving at the airport it is possible to rent a car there. However, it is difficult to drive around in Rome as there is a lot of traffic and limited parking. It is best to learn about traffic conditions to determine which routes to choose when travelling in car.
Public transport
Rome offers a variety of means of transport: bus, metro and tram. The metro has two lines, A and B, and in the central station Terminal buses, trains also stop. Line A is one that leads to the Spanish Steps, the Piazza del Popolo, the Vatican Museum and the Basilica of St. John Lateran. Line B serves the Colosseum and the forums.There is also an extensive network of buses, tickets can be purchased on the bus but can also be bought at newsstands or tobacco shops. The tram is the least used, but it also passes through the city. You can easily walk around Rome in order to visit the city, its monuments, parks and gardens. You can also rent a bicycle to get around the city streets and explore Rome the way you wish to.

EventsRome welcomes and offers many cultural events such as musicals, fairs, exhibitions and many museums. Other festivals such as La Befana is held on January 6th, the statement of the Roman Republic on February 9th, the Roman Carnival, San José, Easter, Christmas and New Year, and many more .
Culinary Specialities
The Roman dishes are those based on pasta and pizza. But the extent of the food does not stop there, Rome cuisine varies. Amongst which there are fish, meat and vegetables. Some of the most typical dishes are bruschetta (bread, oil and garlic), sandwiches, spaghetti carbonara, lasagna, ravioli, tortellini, trenette the bucatini all'Amatriciana and Abbacchio (lamb) with artichokes. Fish with spices such as garlic, bay leaf, basil and oregano are also very popular. Cheese is one of the leading products, including sheep's cheese and pecorino. Meats, like bologna, prosciutto and bresaola are internationally renowned. Do not forget the desserts like ice cream and many types of coffee, liqueurs and wines available on all cards.

The major monuments in Rome are from the legacy of the capital of the Roman Empire such as: the Roman Forum, Colosseum, the Palatine, the Pantheon of Agripa The Column of Trajan, the catacombs of the Baths of Caracalla and the Arch of Constantine. Squares and fountains are also an important part of the city: Piazza Navona, Piazza Campidoglio, the Fountain of the Tritons, not to mention the famous Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. All these places are highly recommendable to anyone visiting Rome. It will take several days to discover these wonders in complete tranquility.

the hotel is, as already other have described, a bit shabby, but clean. Our room had a normal size of 16 square meters and renovated bathroom.

small hotel on the third floor a historic building. The location right on the square is ideal for Rome visitor, focusing on the Vatican is. Terrace on the fifth floor with great view on the Peterplatz. From there you can get to the window observe, from which the Pope seine Sunday Prayers stops. We are however rather on the space left.

clean, modernly decorated hotel. Breakfast was included in the price, but the breakfast buffet turned out to be in the selection limited, and the fresh the offered food was to desire.
