I agree with all reviewers, a beautiful hotel for individualists, the peace and attentive service. The view from room, restaurants and breakfast terrace beautiful. The quality of the breakfast foods (sausage and cheese) is definitely could be improved, daily change would be needed. Of course there is the restaurant in Rovinj MONTE, but also the MONTELINA with fantastic terrace and the LA CROCCE with very good fish and Nudelküche are highly recommended. Hotel Istra **** was wonderfully situated on the " Red island " in front beside Rovinj (Sv. Andreija) The , guests can take is very good from morning to 6:00 until 01:00 run the ships - hourly - between the hotel and Rovinj, the passage lasts just 15 minutes. In the opposite direction gets the ship always between 5:30 until 00:30 from Rovinj. The hotel itself is stunning. Very clean and tidy. A variety of choices at meal times. Free drinks with breakfast. Guests are mostly German and Austrian - we were only 1 of 2 English couples. The staff are amazing and very fluent in several languages - German, Italian, Slovakian, English

Great hotel, very nice in the middle from green. Very clean, accommodating staff. We had half board with payable locally. The buffet dinner and breakfast is very good, all the meals are fresh and for every taste.
Sufficient size of the rooms, safe, telephone, enough closets. Air conditioning, bathroom with bath and toilet.
