Seefeld is a very old city existing since 1022, however tourism began only in the early 20th century and really boomed in the 1970s. In Seefeld the main attributes that make the area special are the different outdoor sports you can do, the relaxing environment and the unique sights. During the winter this area becomes a very popular ski/ snowboard resort attracting a large number of tourists yearly.

Culinary Specialities
Austrians cuisine is influenced from the former Austro-Hungarian Empire, therefore in Seefeld you can experience the native Austrian specialties. One of the main delicacies is the “Apfelstrudel” with vanilla sauce which is a very delicious dessert. Other dishes include:
