As for the last 5 years we were in Sissibay Appartment in june 2010 for almost 2 weeks and we enjoyed it very much. The appartment is good, the staff is friendly and helpful, which can be said for all the people in Crete.
A good place to stay and discover the surroundings.
We have already booked to go again in september 2010!

The service from the reception staff is very friendly and they are always looking for possibillities for change rooms on an other location if the guests want so for what reason.
They want to start/open the breakfast room earlier if guests ask f.i. if they leave early in the morning. Read more

Having just returned from a fortnight stay at Maria’s I can honestly say I have never experienced anything like it.
The Maria website states all rooms have a kitchenette..no they don’t.(although they blame the travel agents for not correcting THEIR misinformation.)...it also says you will receive a warm and friendly greeting...no you won’t..
petty pranks (like removing the air-conditioning key whilst we were out) were the low point of our holiday). The room we had was absolutely NOT suitab... Read more

The hotel was in a good condition on the whole everything clean, it had 90 rooms. The tourist structure consisted of Dutch, Austrian, Swiss, Polish, and German. There was half board or all inclusive.
The rooms were small, but the bathroom with mini shower stall was really a joke. The room furnishings included a small TV, hair dryer, good refrigerator and air conditioner was ok but the air conditioner cost extra, but not sure how much since we didn't need it. Hotel Aquis Vasia Beach & Spa / Vasia Palace in Sissi, Crete
the complex is generous laid out, there are several building, everything very well maintained and clean. The rooms are really very nice, spacious, clean. Great facilities! Everything seemed really new. There were too many families present, many Dutch, all in all very pleasant
