The Interconti in Tegucigalpa was surely one of the best hotels in the Honduran capital. Tourists were mainly businessmen, but also politicians. Also one got used to the armed guards in front of the hotel. Armed security were even standing before some snack bars in Tegucigalpa.
Rooms were large and nicely furnished. Safe, minibar, TV with Sat, coffee machine, and WLan access, cable available. There were no balconies, windows could not be opened, because of the air conditioner.
